DJR Comps – Terms of Service

1. Business Identity

DJR Comps operates as a trading name of Daniel John Rose, acting as a sole trader.

Where applicable, DJR Comps may also operate as a registered limited company. Any reference to "DJR Comps", "we", "us", or "our" shall refer to the trading entity responsible for fulfilling your order at the time it was placed, whether as a sole trader or as a limited company.

These Terms of Service apply equally to both trading structures.

2. Agreement to Terms

By placing an order through our website, invoice, social media platforms, or any other sales channel, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service in full.

3. Custom & Built-to-Order Systems

All DJR Comps computer systems are custom built to order. Once an order is placed, your system immediately enters our build process and components are allocated, ordered, or reserved specifically for your build.

As a result:

• Orders cannot be cancelled once the build process has started.
• No refunds can be issued while a build is in progress.
• This applies regardless of dispatch timeframe, delivery preference, or payment method.

This policy is compliant with the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, which exempt customised and made-to-order goods from standard cancellation rights.

4. Refunds & Returns

If a refund is approved for any reason (including faults, delivery issues, or agreed cancellations prior to build commencement), the following conditions apply:

• No refund will be issued until the system has been returned to DJR Comps, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• The system must be returned in reasonable condition, including all supplied components, accessories, and packaging where possible.
• Refunds will be processed within 14 days of refund approval, using the original payment method.

Refund timelines begin from the date of approval, not from the date of initial request or courier transit.

5. Dispatch & Delivery

Dispatch times provided are estimates, not guarantees. Delivery timeframes begin only once a system has been dispatched and are subject to courier performance.

DJR Comps cannot be held responsible for courier delays once an item has been handed over to the carrier.

6. Address & Collections

Any address provided by DJR Comps is strictly appointment-only.

• Unannounced visits are not permitted.
• Collections, inspections, or returns must be arranged and confirmed in advance.
• Failure to attend a scheduled appointment may result in delays or additional charges.

7. Communication

By placing an order, you consent to being contacted regarding your order via the details provided at checkout. This may include email, phone, SMS, or social platforms such as Facebook Messenger if prior contact has occurred through those channels.

8. Liability & Limitations

DJR Comps shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, including loss of data, income, or business opportunity.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total value of the order placed.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
